General Gymboree Rewards Program Information
The Gymboree Rewards program is brought to you by The Gymboree Corporation (“Gymboree”).
Gymboree may, at any time, terminate, alter or modify the Gymboree Rewards program and/or these terms and conditions without any further obligations and/or benefits to members. We will provide you written notices via email or a notice posted on Gymboree.com should we terminate, alter or modify the Gymboree Rewards program and/or these terms and conditions. “Terms and conditions” shall refer to these terms and conditions, as they are modified by Gymboree in its sole and absolute discretion.
GYMBOREE, the GYMBOREE logo, GYMBOREE OUTLET, GYMBOREE REWARDS, GYMBOREE.COM, and other Gymboree trademarks and logos are the intellectual property of The Gymboree Corporation and/or its affiliates. These terms and conditions are void where and to the extent prohibited by law.
How to Join
Gymboree Rewards program membership is open to all persons who have reached the age of majority with a delivery address in the U.S. or Canada. No purchase is necessary to join the Gymboree Rewards program. By joining and participating in the Gymboree Rewards program, you represent that you have reached the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence and you agree to these terms and conditions. Your membership is nontransferable and is subject to these terms and conditions, as they may be amended from time to time. Your membership is valid only at participating Gymboree U.S. and Canada stores, Gymboree Outlet stores and at gymboree.com. Gymboree Rewards membership is not available for purchases on global.gymboree.com at this time. Enrollment begins upon Gymboree’s receipt and acceptance of your complete application.
A current, valid email address must be on record in order for a member to be eligible to receive rewards certificates, select bonus offers and other membership benefits. When you enroll at a participating store, you will receive a membership card. When you enroll online, you will receive an email confirming your membership. If you make a purchase when you enroll online, your membership card will be included in your online order shipment (provided you ship the order to yourself at your billing address). If you enroll online and do not make a purchase but would like to receive a membership card, you can go to a participating store to receive a membership card. If you receive a membership number via email and later receive a membership card with a different membership number, we will link the accounts together so that you will have a primary membership account where all of your points accumulate. You are solely responsible for protecting your membership number and membership card and not sharing your membership number with anyone else.
Gymboree’s employees and their spouses/domestic partners, franchisees and employees of franchisees are not eligible to participate in the Gymboree Rewards program.
How to Earn Points
As a member of the Gymboree Rewards program, you will earn one point for every $1 USD (for Canadian in-store purchases, you will earn one point for every $1 CDN) you spend on qualifying purchases, net of taxes (see "Non-Qualifying Items" below) when you use your membership card at the time of purchase in-store at participating Gymboree locations in the U.S. and Canada, at participating Gymboree Outlets or when you enter your membership number online at Gymboree.com when making an online purchase. Purchases are in U.S. Dollars at participating stores in the U.S. and online; purchases are in Canadian Dollars for purchases in participating Canadian stores.
Points will post to your account approximately seven days from in-store purchase and seven days from the date of shipment for online orders. You can earn additional points through special offers and promotions as designated by Gymboree, in its sole discretion, from time to time. Point calculations are based upon dollars net of taxes spent at checkout on qualifying purchases (see "Non-Qualifying Items" below). When products are returned or exchanged, points will be deducted from your Gymboree Rewards account for the amount of return or the difference in the exchanged product (if the new item is less than the original item) net of taxes. When products are subject to a price adjustment, points will be deducted from your Gymboree Rewards account for the incremental amount of the price adjustment net of taxes. Purchases made with a merchandise credit will not earn points. Points cannot be earned on purchases made prior to joining the Gymboree Rewards program. You may only earn points on purchases made with your membership number for up to three purchases in a day.
Only one membership card or membership number may be used in connection with a purchase. Points will only post to one Gymboree Rewards account per person. If you have more than one Gymboree Rewards account, (i) points earned from qualifying transactions will be credited to the primary account designated by Gymboree, in its sole and absolute discretion and (ii) you can only earn one set of enrollment bonus points.
How to Receive Rewards
For every 200 points you earn in the Gymboree Rewards program, you will receive a rewards certificate redeemable for a $10 discount off a future purchase of any qualifying products at Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet or Gymboree.com (see below – How to Use Rewards Certificates). Rewards certificates will be issued in multiples of $10 for every 200 points you earn during an earnings period. Rewards certificates are not redeemable for "Non-Qualifying Items," see below. 200 Points will be automatically deducted from your account for every $10 rewards certificate issued to you. Rewards certificates will only be issued by email. Rewards certificates will be issued approximately four times per year, at times determined by Gymboree. Quarterly earning periods for accumulation of Gymboree Rewards points are currently as follows: February 1 through April 30, May 1 through July 14, July 15 through October 31, and November 1 through January 31. Rewards certificates will be generally issued within approximately three weeks from the end of an earnings period. Remaining unused points or accounts without sufficient points to receive a rewards certificate in a given earnings period will carry over the points to the next earnings period.
Rewards certificates will be redeemable in United States Dollars if spent in a participating U.S. Gymboree store, Gymboree Outlet or at Gymboree.com. Rewards certificates will be redeemable in the same denomination in Canadian dollars if spent in a participating Canadian Gymboree store. For example, if you earn a $10 rewards certificate in a Canadian Gymboree store, the rewards certificate will be worth $10 Canadian. However, if you earn the rewards certificate at Gymboree.com or in a U.S. Gymboree store or Outlet, the rewards certificate will be worth $10 U.S. Dollars.
How to Use Rewards Certificates
Rewards certificates may only be redeemed by the Gymboree Rewards member to whom the rewards certificate was awarded. Rewards certificates are coupons for discounts off future purchases at Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet and Gymboree.com. If the value of the purchase is less than the rewards certificate, no change will be provided and the remaining amount of the rewards certificate will be lost. The value of the rewards certificate will be applied as a percentage discount on each item in your transaction. You will receive the price paid (after the discount) on all returned or exchanged merchandise. The value of your rewards certificate will not be returned if you make a return or exchange. Rewards certificates cannot be applied to previous purchases. Transactions involving redeeming rewards certificates are not eligible for price adjustments. Rewards certificates may be used in conjunction with most Gymboree discounts or coupons, to be determined in Gymboree’s sole and absolute discretion.
Unless noted otherwise on the rewards certificate, each rewards certificate will expire within forty-five (45) days from the date it is issued.
Gymboree Rewards program points cannot be earned or redeemed on the following: sales tax, shipping, donations, gift wrap or purchases of gift cards/certificates. In addition, Gymboree Rewards program points cannot be earned or redeemed at Gymboree Play & Music. Other exclusions may apply. Gymboree may add or delete non-qualifying items in Gymboree’s sole and absolute discretion.
Customers will earn points on merchandise subtotal, after any discounts are taken and pre- charges for tax, shipping, donations, gift wrap or purchases of gift cards.
Gymboree Play & Music
Bring your membership card to a participating Gymboree Play & Music to receive a free class and $20 off of your enrollment if you enroll at your free class. Offer is valid for new Gymboree Play & Music families only. Existing Play & Music customers are not eligible. Offer is not redeemable for cash or credit. Void where prohibited by law.
As a result of your membership in the Gymboree Rewards Program, you will receive emails addressed only to Gymboree Rewards members. If you do not open any one of these emails during any twelve (12) month period, Gymboree reserves the right to cease sending you these emails. You can opt in again to receive these emails by signing into your online account to view and modify your Rewards email subscription status.
Membership cards, points and rewards certificates have no cash value and are non-transferable. Lost, stolen or destroyed membership cards and rewards certificates will not be replaced. Gymboree is not responsible for communication errors, including distribution of rewards certificates, due to a change of email address or other changes in contact information. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply.
Membership Cancellation, Modification, Expiration and Termination
You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying Gymboree Customer Service by mail, e-mail or telephone. Cancellation may take from six to eight weeks to finalize.
If you do not make any qualifying purchases with your Gymboree Rewards membership number during a calendar year, Gymboree may, in its sole discretion, terminate your account on or after the last day of that calendar year. If your membership expires, any points which remain in your account will be forfeited.
In all matters relating to the administration of the Gymboree Rewards program, the decisions of Gymboree shall be final. Gymboree reserves the right to cancel, amend or revoke any program, including, without limitation, the Gymboree Rewards program, at any time due to reasonable business consideration or circumstances beyond its control or as required by applicable law. In addition, Gymboree reserves the right to terminate your Gymboree Rewards membership, and void any points accumulated in such account(s), if you, in Gymboree’s sole discretion, violate any of these terms and conditions or any applicable law, earn points via deception, forgery, fraud, or commit any other abuse of the Gymboree Rewards program.

In addition, you will receive marketing communications from Gymboree’s other brands, including, without limitation, Gymboree Outlet, Gymboree Play & Music, Janie and Jack, Janie and Jack Outlet, and Crazy8. Limitation of Liability
GYMBOREE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, ACTIONS, INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, RESULTING FROM THE GYMBOREE REWARDS PROGRAM. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THAT APPLIES TO ALL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COMPENSATORY, DIRECT, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES; LOSS OF DATA, INCOME, OR PROFIT; LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY; AND CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT GYMBOREE HAS NOT MADE AND IS NOT IN ANY MANNER RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, STATUTORY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, TITLE, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE), IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE GYMBOREE REWARDS PROGRAM. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, GYMBOREE DOES NOT MAKE ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS WITH RESPECT TO GYMBOREE.COM AND GYMBOREE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES OF ANY INTERRUPTIONS OR ERRORS RELATED THERETO.
These Terms and Conditions and the Gymboree Rewards program will be interpreted, construed and enforced, and governed in all aspects in accordance with the exclusive jurisdiction and laws of the state of California. Any cause of action arising under or relating to these Terms and Conditions will be brought exclusively in a court in San Francisco, California.
