Not exactly as pictured but still ok

It’s more of a drop-waist style than pictured, with the skirt being shorter from waist to hem. Size 8 comes to just above the knee for my average-sized 7-year-old. The red is a slightly darker shade, but it’s still nice. After washing and drying the hem has folded up, which is annoying - hopefully this corrects itself after the next wash. This is a warm knit.

Weird fit and not as pictured

The sizing is so weird. Size 8 is incredibly boxy and ridiculously wide. The red is a dingy dark red as well, not bright and festive. Looks absolutely nothing like the picture.
