Great fit and cut for tween.

These are beautiful on my slim granddaughter. They glide over her legs and flare in a very flattering way. I was surprised the waistband was small enough. It doesn't have to stretch, but it hangs on in a flattering way. The ponte fabric is the quality I would wear myself.
