Update to Gymboree Return Policy

  • Effective Friday, 1/18/19 all sales will be final in stores.
  • Effective Friday, 1/18/19, all sales will be final online.
  • Effective Friday, 1/18/19 any purchase made in a store within 60 days prior to Friday, 1/18/19 will be eligible to be returned until Friday, 2/1/19.
  • Effective Friday, 1/18/19, any purchase made online within 60 days prior to Friday, 1/18/19, will be eligible to be returned until Friday, 2/1/19.
  • Beginning Friday, 1/18/19, Free Returns will be discontinued.


Return Policy

Effective Friday, 1/18/19 any purchase made in a store within 60 days prior to Friday, 1/18/19 will be eligible to be returned until Friday, 2/1/19. Prior to that date, merchandise may be returned if defective, or unwashed and unworn, to any Gymboree Outlet with or without a receipt. Gymboree Outlet merchandise must be returned to Gymboree Outlet locations only. Gymboree Outlet stores are unable to accept merchandise returns from Gymboree retail stores. All merchandise returns are subject to a 24-hour re-stocking period.

Returns with Original Sales Receipt

Effective Friday, 1/18/19 any purchase made in a store within 60 days prior to Friday, 1/18/19 will be eligible to be returned until Friday, 2/1/19. Merchandise may be exchanged, or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment for the price paid when returned, within the above time frame. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt.

Returns with Gift Receipt

Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Credit or merchandise exchange for the price paid. Effective Friday, 2/1/19 stores will no longer issue merchandise credits. Effective Sunday, 2/17/19 all merchandise credit will be inactive and will not be eligible to be redeemed. Effective Friday, 1/18/19 all sales will be final in stores.

Returns without Receipt

Effective Friday, 1/18/19 any purchase made in a store within 60 days prior to Friday, 1/18/19 will be eligible to be returned until Friday, 2/1/19. Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Credit or merchandise exchange for the current selling price. Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or gift receipt. Effective Friday, 2/1/19 stores will no longer issue merchandise credits. Effective Sunday, 2/17/19 all merchandise credit will be inactive and will not be eligible to be redeemed. Valid forms of photo identification include: U.S. Driver's License, U.S. state-issued ID, U.S. Military ID, and a Passport. Effective Friday, 1/18/19 all sales will be final in stores.

Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits

All active Gift Cards, E-Gift Cards and merchandise credit will be eligible to be redeemed until Saturday, 2/16/19. Effective Sunday, 2/17/19 all Gift Cards, E-Gift Cards and merchandise credit will be inactive and will not be eligible to be redeemed. Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits may be redeemed at any U.S. Gymboree location for merchandise only, except to the extent required by law. Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits are valid in the country of issuance only. Lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards or Merchandise Credits may be replaced for the remaining balance upon presenting an original sale or gift receipt. Merchandise Credits are non-transferable. Merchandise Credits may not be used online.

Price Adjustments

Gymboree Outlet is unable to offer price adjustments on previous purchases. These policies are subject to change at any time at Gymboree Group, Inc.'s sole discretion.
