Ordered size 2. The strap is so tight on my 9.5yr old, you can't even do it up. I had my 7yr old try it on also, just to see how the strap fit her (even though the shoe length is big). The strap is too tight for her too. My kids have average size ankles. The shoe straps are not adjustable so unless your your kids ankle is the size of their wrist.. IT WILL NOT FIT. Very cute shoe, but I have no idea how to fix this to make it work now since I don't have the tags anymore.
