Are all items online available for Buy Online Pick Up Today?

Only select items are available for Buy Online, Pick Up Today. These items can be easily found by looking for the ‘Pick Up In Store’ button while shopping online.


The Children’s Place stores do not carry Online Exclusives, Sugar & Jade and select PJ Place merchandise, and therefore are NOT available for same-day pickup. If you’d like to ship an order from these online-only brands to a nearby store location, select 'Ship to Store’ (if available) and it’ll be ready for pickup in a few days.

How does it work?

It’s easy to buy the items you love online, and then pick them up today at your local The Children’s Place store!

Just look for the ‘Pick Up Today’ button while shopping. Once you click on it, search the item’s availability by zip code or city/state and the nearby locations that have your item will appear. After you select your pickup location, you’ll check out like normal. You can also update your shipping or pickup options per item during checkout.

You’ll receive email updates with pickup info on the same day (or next morning if it’s after store hours). Once your item is ready for pickup, head to the selected store, provide your order number and a valid photo ID.

Please note: Online Exclusives, Sugar & Jade and select PJ Place merchandise are found exclusively online and NOT available for same-day pickup. If you’d like to ship an order from these online-only brands to a nearby store location, select 'Ship to Store’ (if available) and it’ll be ready for pickup in a few days.

Does Buy Online Pick Up Today work on a style that is sold out online?

Yes, if an item is sold out online, you can try to find additional colors/sizes at your local store. Only select items are available for Buy Online Pick Up Today. Click ‘Pick Up In Store’ button to get started.

How can I check the status of my Pickup order?

Check the status of your order in the Order Details section of your online account, as well as your inbox for email updates. Please note: tracking information will not be available, but we will send an email when your order is ready for pickup.

When do I pay for my items?

Your items are purchased when the order is submitted online.

Where in the store do I pick up my items?

An associate in the store will help with your pickup order. Just provide your order number and a valid photo ID (that matches the name on the order).

What do I need to bring to pick up my items?

All you need is your order number and a valid photo ID, which must match the name on the order.

Can someone else pick up my order?

Yes they can, as long as they were added as the alternate pickup person when the order was placed. All they'll need is the order number and a valid photo ID.

Can I cancel my order after it has been placed?

Once an order is completed and confirmed, it cannot be canceled, updated (to add/remove items) or changed. You may return items at any of our store locations.

Can I use a coupon on my purchase?

Yes. You can use any coupon valid for an online order.
