Adorable but impossible buttons and too small

This looks adorable but runs small. I ordered a 7 but it was too tight and too short for my very skinny 1st grade Great Granddaughter. In addition, it's almost impossible to button the buttons on the back of the jumper. There were too many layers of fabric and the holes were too small for the button to get through the hole. Bruised my fingers trying to push the buttons through without success.
