Absolutely gorgeous, classic Christmas dress. The velvet is polyester but feels like an expensive cotton velvet. My daughter wears a 4t in Gymboree and the 5t dress was a bit tight. It fit but there’s no room to grow because the lining has no give. I’m sad she can’t wear it again next year because it’s such a beautiful dress.

Beautiful dress but chest and shoulder area runs VERY snug. It’s almost 3 sizes too small for my child. She wears a 12 and this was now where near close to buttoning .

If your daughter is on the chubby size I recommend ordering a size up. The velvet doesn't give. My daughter is an 8P in pants at Children's Place and the 8 is tight across her back. She could use a 10. The belt doesn't adjust but the buttons are pulling. The dress is adorable and classic.
